A NABBA Novice No More

18th December 2016

Back in May I worked with Sue King on a photo shoot of her training session prior to her first competition at the Anglian Bodybuilding Championships. If you missed it, you can take a look at A Lady That Lifts

As I mentioned in the post, Sue finished runner-up in the event, which allowed her to qualify for the NABBA British Novice Final 2016 on 20 November, in the Miss Toned First Timers Class.

I'm pleased to say that Sue finished in second place, which is a fantastic achievement in only her second competition, and one she was very happy with indeed!

Much like her first competition, Sue wanted to document how she looked before competing with a photo session with me. The shoot this time was at Fitness 2000 gym, where Sue had been training under the instruction of Mark Spinks to prepare for her show.

It's always fascinating spending time with Sue, learning about her progress, what has changed, what her plans are for future competitions, and I'm always amazed and impressed by the sacrifices she has to make, particularly in the diet department…Let me tell you, half a teaspoon of Peanut Butter as a snack wouldn't do much to quell my hunger!
