Embrace The Ginger

08th May 2018

Blogging is not quite as easy and straightforward as some might believe, I know this first hand. Not that I am a full time, or even a part-time blogger of course, but I do try to write posts, whether they are successful or not would be up to you to decide, but keeping things fresh and interesting is a constant challenge.

So I have a lot of respect for those that blog, or write. What to write, when to write, avoiding the dreaded writer’s block… Natalie Reynolds or ‘Ginger Natalie’ as she is known to her readers and followers, is one such blogger that gets my respect.

Known for her bright colours, fashion and beauty tips, Natalie manages to keep a steady stream of posts on her blog, as well as more visual content on her Instagram page too….which leads me nicely onto the photo shoot I did with her recently.
This had been in the pipeline for quite a while, but Great British weather had it’s say and put a spanner in the works, but happily we managed to finally get suitable conditions for the session.

Working with Natalie was very easy. She is clearly very happy and confident in front of the camera, and works with little or no direction. I usually work with people that have no experience modelling or posing for photographs. So I was happy to go along with this very different experience for me. A cross between blog style and my usual portraits, it was definitely something that would result in some different images (for me anyway).

I know from a previous Boudoir shoot with Natalie, that she only posts colour photos on her blog and Instagram accounts, in keeping with her bright and bold niche, but I do like a black and white image as well….

Natalie’s blog can be found on her website at Facebook and Instagram
