Eterno Boudoir- Location, Location, Location

My first Boudoir session of 2019 was something very different. A model call shoot with Paige, and one that’s been in the pipeline for a while, but for good reason. It was a trial run for a new offering from my Eterno Boudoir Photography.
Those of you that have been following Eterno Boudoir over the past couple of months will know I’ve been making some changes. Updating collections and investment, and also adding another type of photo session, to be more precise, another photo location. I have always offered home shoots as standard, but after taking on board feedback from my lovely group of Branding Buddies late last year. Not everyone thinks their house is suitable for a Boudoir session, and some just want to be somewhere else for theirs. With this in mind, I’ve been looking into finding an alternative place for ladies to have their Boudoir session.
This photo session with Paige was taken at the first such location, a beautiful holiday house in the country. All that was needed was a Makeup artist to complete the team, I’m lucky enough to have working her makeover magic with me on my Eterno Boudoir sessions - this one included -the talented and very lovely Danielle Cox of The Glam and Glitter Party. So Paige was in very good hands.
In keeping with my approach, the entire session was shot using natural daylight, the house we used certainly had a lot of that. Most of the shoot took place in the living areas, not in a bedroom. I’m always looking for trying slightly different things during a shoot, so using these spaces seemed to offer the challenge I love.

Onto Paige herself. I thought she was amazing throughout the session, from the moment her makeover was complete to the final shot, she rocked it. As practically everyone first time boudoir client will tell me, it’s never easy to model. Of course, I give direction throughout, and keep things as relaxed and natural as possible to make the whole experience enjoyable and fun, but like every new experience, it takes time to adapt, and everyone does, but Paige picked things up very quickly. She was very natural in front of the camera, making it very easy for me, it has to be said!
The real proof of the success of the shoot isn’t about my opinion, it’s always down to the lady in the photos herself. So what did Paige think….
“The whole experience was beautiful!! Not only was Martin a lovely chap, he was VERY respectful. When it came to changing pose/shot he’d leave the room, let me do my thing and get undressed etc. Danielle, the makeup artist he works with is also a very talented woman. Both of them are literal magicians. For whatever reason you’re putting off doing a shoot like this, DONT. All in all, a wonderful experience, the finished shots are stunning, me and my best friend cried!! Thank you, to both Martin and Danielle, extremely down to earth individuals!(with magical powers).”
I’m assured by Paige that the tears were happy ones by the way!
