What's Next?

The business may be coming to an end, but my photography will carry on. Here’s a little run down of what I’m planning photographically in the New Year and beyond.
Getting Out and About
One area I’m really keen on getting back to is landscape photography. It’s where I took my first steps into this wonderful world of photographic art, my first love photographically speaking. I found it so good for my soul, being out and about in some beautiful scenery making images which were just for me. It’s a genre of photography which provides challenges every time you venture out with no two days are ever being the same.
I stopped landscape shoots around 4 years ago, simply because I couldn’t fit it in with my portrait work and family life, but with the more time coming available to me it’s definitely something I want to explore again.
Where can you see my landscape work?
In order to ensure I do actually dust off my tripod and filters, and keep me accountable to myself, I have created Landscape accounts on Instagram and Facebook, as well as this website too of course! If Landscape photography is your thing, feel free to give them a follow.

People Photos
It’s an area I am probably best known for, and something I’m determined to continue with, my ‘people photo shoots’ (Portraits and Boudoir/Beauty) is something that has always bought me pleasure, and it’s good to keep my hand in for the future. They will work differently, instead of charging a fee for any shoots, they will be collaborations aka “Time For” shoots. These are photo sessions, where in return for their time, the model is paid in digital images with the agreement will be that the resulting images will used online and in my portfolios. It’s a standard practice in the photography world. I’ll be putting out model calls when I’m looking to organise a shoot.
